Meet “Miss” Terri

IMG_4711-editWelcome to 3 and 4 year old preschool at Little Einsteins Learning Center.  I am so excited to be a part of your child’s preschool experience.

Please allow me to tell you a little about myself.  This will be my 41st year of teaching.  My career includes teaching public kindergarten in Lowndes County Schools for 12 years.  I have taught private kindergarten and preschool at various church schools in the community.  I most recently retired from St. John School after developing and teaching the preschool program there for 22 years.  I received my undergraduate degree and Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education from Valdosta State University.

My family consists of my husband, Bobby Joseph.  We have two wonderful daughters.  Jessi is a graduate of UGA and works for NBC in New York City.  Cortni is a graduate of VSU and teaches elementary art in Thomasville City School system.

I love working with preschool age children.  They are so full of wonder and excitement.  They will learn so much this year and will probably teach me a few things too!  My main goal is to help your precious child learn and develop in the following  areas as we build a solid foundation:  social, emotional, cognitive, language, physical, and spiritual.  We will learn in a fun but structured, faith based environment.  We will develop good learning habits that teach the principle that effort produces results.  We will build self-esteem, while learning to respect others and their feelings.  We will learn the joy of developing friendships that will last a lifetime.

Your child is a true gift from God.  I pray they amaze you at all they will learn and how they grow in wisdom and stature over the next few months.  This is a special and precious time in your child’s life.  I am blessed and honored to be a part of it.

Cherish the days!
